With its theme, Brave: Scaling New Heights, accountancy
week totally flies smoothly into the sky. The week started with the parade of
birds. Representatives of each team dressed like a bird like eagle, hawk,
falcon, vulture, flamingo, mockingbird, swan, pigeon, and so much more. They
roamed around the PUP Main Campus and then gathered at the flagpole. There, at
a count of three, a huge tarpaulin started to roll from the fifth floor with
matching confetti in the sky and they lighted a torch symbolizes that the 24th
Accountancy Week is finally started. Also assorted colored balloon started to
flew up the sky. It’s a great sight for all the people who witness the
ceremony.
After the opening ceremony,
accountancy students went to the gymnasium to attend a program and presentation
for the 24th Accountancy Week. Here, they watched the dance
performances of JPIA Talented members. Then, the awaited parade of birds came.
The crowd started to make noise as the representatives of each teams showcase
their elegant bird costumes. Our very own representatives stay calm as they
paved away into the stage showcasing their eagle-like costumes.
